I too am building a new core2 system, and am going to sell the old one. A general price would be nice, with possibly parting it to make more money....

Dell Base with XP Pro cd's and keys.
P4 2.8ghz with HT
XFX 6800GT 256 (3 months old)
1.5 Gb Ram (2x256mb Kingston Ram & 2x 512mb Corsair Ram)
200gb 7200 rpm
120 gb backup drive 7200rpm
CD-RW
DVD player

hopefully I can get about 400 for it, but then again, maybe I'm way to optimistic... :(

yeah, you could try to get $400. Maybe even a little more.
But just one thing, if you are building a new pc then why don't you use the hdd from that pc. Keep the 200gb, then you don't have to buy a new hdd. Sure you will get a little lower price, but you are going to save money because you don't need to buy a new hdd. Or if you do, then something like a 300gb should be more than enough, giving you 500gb as a total.

well I have the 200 and 120, but the 200 is the boot drive AND I'm going to rub SATA on the new system, and already bought a 250gig drive. Question is, I guess, would the new mobo be able to handle both an SATA and IDE as the slave drive? Also, that computer is going to go up for sale in about a week, so if anyone wants to get in on it, I'm going to ask 500 plus half of shipping.
