ultra ata vs. ide???

ok so im looking at a 250gb hd in an ad and it says its ultra ata

is that the same as ide??? because it looks like it is but i just wanna be sure before i put up the money

well there is some differences, but it uses the same cable etc. But they don't even make IDE drives anymore, it's very old technology. All the modern ones are ultra ata. So basically all the drives we call IDE drives, (exept the really old ones) are actually ultra ata.
