i want to start playing online games now that i have cable but i downloaded wolfenstein and it freezes up every time i get into it so what do i need to upgrade on my computer like ram, graphics card,etc..

first what are your specs.

i have a intel graphics controller, 512 mb of ram, and a 2.4 ghz processor

the grahics card, which is an onboard one cannot handle the gameplay. does the freezing occur whilst in gameplay or when your are starting the game up.

if its only playing the game, then go to options and put every graphics option on low so you can run the game on the computer.

would i be able to just upgrade the video card without upgrading anything else

Depends on what m/board it is, does it have an AGP slot or is it PCI-e

More ram would probably be required too

Yeah need to know more about the pc...for all we know that could be a 2.4ghz Celeron...which wouldnt run games very nicely lol
