Fan Problem

Hey guys, i'm having a problem with my PC, i don't know what the hell is going on with my fan, it seems to speed up anytime i open a program, and when i have multiple programs running, it stays at a high setting, i tried everything, i took it out, and put it back in, i even cleaned it, but nothing seems to help, any information on this?

If it's the cpu fan then it's doing what it's supposed to do. As you task the cpu by running programs it gets hotter. The temp probes built in to the cpu chip signal the motherboard to speed up the fan. After the cpu cools down the fan will slow back down.

I've had my computer for about 1 year and a half, and it never had this problem until yesterday, so there's a problem going on
