In about a week my new build will be done, and i'll have an SATA setup rather than my current IDE. Is there an easy way to just flash this new SATA with all my stuff, or a program or something that will work? I also have a DVD-R drive, so if thats the efficient way, i'll do that. Advice??!

There are a few ways, the best will probably be to do a clean install of the OS to ya new pc, then assuming ya running XP you can use the file and settings transfer wizard. Also if ya have music etc on the IDE drive then just connect it as a slave to the new pc and copy over to the SATA drive once ya new OS is installed.

so i can hook up an SATA drive AND an IDE drive to the same mobo? see, i didnt know that...cause thats cool.

Yeah course you can mate, providing the board has connectors for them both
