'detect optimal frequencies'

i did that, and before it was 630/580 (core/memory), now it says 665/1.29ghz...i don't know if i should go with that. i haven't tried it, but idk.

umm, the point is to try it or not to try it?
Go ahead and see what happens, if it crashes then it crashes. Assuming you are using coolbits if it crashes you can just hold down a key during windows startup and it won't use the oc. Or then just don't check the "apply clock speeds at start up" thingy.

And I'm assuming that 1.29 ghz = 645mhz actual clock speed. (the ram)
If the actual clock speed is 1.29 ghz then I highly doubt it will work.

nope, didn't work. i put it back to 630/580.

I'd suggest that u just manually oc it. It will work better, though it will take more time. Lots of help in the guide thread if u are unsure of what to do.

Whenever I use "Detect Optimal Frequencies" I get a bunch of artifacts.
