U3 problems

i have a u3 thumbdrive and it works on every computer i try it in except my computer. im not sure exactly what the problem is u3 drives make a virtual cd drive when you plug them in and i have virtual drives on my computer set up with demeon tools and achochal 120% so im thinking that minght be the problem on my computer i cant even read the thumbdrive it shows the drive letter but it says that there is nothing on iteven though there is i have tried other non u3 thumb drives and they work fine please help.

The port you're using might not be working. Plug it into another USB port and see what happens.

Check ya USB drivers, and what OS have ya got? Is it the same as the other computers ya have tested it on?

i have tried several ports and i am using win xp pro

when i put the drive in it reads it and shows me the files in the main directory then it locks up and if i click on the drive again it shows that there are no files
