DILLIGAF sorry i did'nt think of that that way :-( i think i have to understand your decision, thank any way and no i did not try with scannow i will try to night. but a did reinstal XP and yes i had to reinstal some drivers but i dont think XP reinstaled proprely cause the probleme is still there

What exactly is the problem you are trying to solve? Can you post that pic you were trying to post? Host the pic at imageshack or similar and put the url in image tags as you tried to earlier

Yep, that's what i'd do too, unless he doesn't have an XP Pro SP2 disk

EDIT: @ Burt, I presume you've done all the basic virus and spyware scans, yes?

yesterday i did the retry button thing but it did not work, but just now i did do put the CD in and then! i went and did the sfc /scannow and it did so now all i have to do is wait and see if it did work cause it seem to be ok.
