Motherboard and ram

Hey i wanna upgrade my ram but i looked up my motherboard and says speed supported is pc2700. It has room and everything but a lot of the ram i find is over 2700. Will a 3200 or higher work or only 2700 or lower?

Just goto crucial.com and select ya computer etc, and it will tell ya the various options available
