I am building new system, and planning on using the E6300 Conroe and

that board. I am not moneybags so I can't afford the $270 asus board I want, but this one looks nice. I have 2gigs of Corsair XMS, SATA 250 gig hd, and hopefully SLI'ed 7600XT's. I dont really want to overclock so that isn't an issue. WOuld I be better with a differnt board?

Also, would I be better off just paying the $40 more for the E6400. I play games, video-edit, music-edit and internet mainly. No overclocking.

Pay the extra $40 for future proofing mate, and that ASUS board looks fine, pretty niec actually.

if you could.. i'd really strive fora 680i chipset, those things are.. beastly, but that's fine for a board if you want it. um.. i'm assuming the memory is ddr2.
and go the extra distance with the cpu, the 6400e is great.

Well i'm not ordering till tonite, so whats the diff in the 680i and the 570 that this board is? I dont know the difference?
