Ok guys i haven't posted here in ages but i'm building a new PC so i need some help. It's not going to be anything amazing but i want something decent to play games that is better than my damn eMachines.

I'll be keeping my current PSU and hardrive, but everything will be new. I think im going to need a 24 to 20 pin PSU motherboard adapter too.

Anyway here are the parts, if anyone has a reccomendation for a better part that is roughly the same price let me know.

well.. his psu shouldn't be a problem since he's using his old one and the 7600gt and his other parts aren't big power hungry parts. um.. depending on your budget i'd reconsider some parts like the mobo and maybe the cpu.. oh yeah.. you need ram too... unless you're using old ram, same with your optical drives.

Yup keeping RAM and drives......i dont want to change the CPU, ive seen one in action and for a single core they are amazingly fast. But what would you recoomend for a mobo??

well, in my mind i'm just a bit biased toward asus products since i've only used them and they've been pretty good for me. that gigabyte board got mixed reviews. the board seems ok, it's just personal preference on my behalf to stick with a brand i trust. not necessarily your preference.

yea i never used anything else except for ASUS i personally think they rock, never had one problem, so i would recommend ASUS def.

So everything is good? BTW is there like a tutorial on how to build this mother, like what to put in first and what to do when you start it up for the first time (does it go straight to windows or do you have to do some fancy bios shit???
