Whenever I turn on the PC, I get text saying: "Invalid system disk, please insert another disk and push any key". What disk do I insert? I've tried the XP disk and my mobo driver disk. What do I do?

Take the floppy out if there is one in
That's the first port of call :D

If there is no floppy in the drive check that the data and power cables are correctly plugged in on the boot drive.

yes. The computer is telling you that the drive it is trying to boot from does not have a valid boot block.

What does it mean to not have a valid boot block? All I did was install my mobo cd and then it asked me to restart, so I did, and when it tried to turn back on it gave me the "invalid system" message.

I got it to work. It was set to boot from the floppy drive so I set it to boot from the Hard drive. Thanks for the help.
