lol, I'm gonna beat that.
I found the tower and mobo outside on campus and it'll take about $40 to finish it (not including monitor)
I'm going to run linux on there and it will probably be a dedicated arcade machine emulator.
Some kind of AMD K6
Some kind of old SDRAM
Small ATA hard drive
Removable drives
And suggestions on CPU and RAM would be appreciated, but I realize this is before your times. Socket 7 boy-eeee.
I think I can go up to 380-something MB RAM.
If I wanted to I could splurge and get a PCI video card, but I don't think it's necessary for running Pac-Man. It's got integrated and that will do for the time being.
