Graphics card that is as good as the 360

Is there a graphics card out that has as much or almost as much graphics power as the 360 or PS3? Is teh 7600GT even near?

How about Nvidea. My mobo can do SLI, and eventually I would get a second of the card. I dont know much about Radeon.

the gpu in the xbox 360 is basically a premature version of the r600 from ATI, which will be their first line of direct x 10 cards. so to answer your question. no. the 7600gt is far from close. the absolute peak performance that you recieve from the gpu in the xbox 360 is not as high as the x1900xtx or 7900gtx, but, it is much more efficient in the way that it always uses say.. 90% of it's power rather than the 7900gtx and the x1900xtx, which use much much less, therefore, in the end, the overall performance of the r600 in the xbox 360 will be better than the x1900xtx. the best gpu to compare it with right now would probably be the 8800gtx.

here are the specs for 360:
Custom ATI Graphics Processor
- 500 MNz
- 10 MB embedded DRAM
- 48-way parallel floating-point shader pipelines
- unified shader architecture
If the floating point shader lines are or like pixel pipelines the 7600GT is not too close. Other than that, i wouldnt know.

The 8800GTX is prob closet.

But think of what you can do with a console and what you can do with a computer?

I love my PCs, only thing i'd do with a 360 is ebay that sucker

8800GTX comes closest right now. But once the R600 comes out, it will surpass the Xeonos GPU because Xenos is the predecessor to the R600. Xenos is known as the R500. R600 is rumored to be unified, 64 full pipelines, 1GB (rumor) of GDDR4.

ps2... i have no idea what graphics it is.. i didn't pay any attention to the ps2's release.. the ps3's gpu is about on the level of a 7800gtx though....
the 7900gt is a good card, but.. not as good as the 8800gtx
