Uncompress files

I compressed all files on my computer and now I can not find them. When I go to "All Programs" it's empty. My dektop has nothing but a couple of standard windows icons. I can not find any of the programs I installed on my computer. I did not delete anything. I simply compressed everything and I had no idea that everything will hide. Please let me know what to do.

Try uncompressing everything that ya compressed, what software did ya use for the compression?

most likely you can't find the programs since they are compressed. Try what raffaz said, it might work.

Ya probably cant see anything, coz all the previous links etc, have been compressed so they arent valid anymore. If you were doing this to free up space on ya whole HDD, then ya should have used the windows compression tool, ive got a sneaky feeling that ya have RARed it, thinking it would do the same thing.
