That bites lol O well as long as i can recive updats frm avg and scan for viruses then I shall be ok

yep thats all you need, i just grabbed the pro edition and removed the free in about 5 mins so it wasnt a big deal

So you guessed wrong, AVG 7.5 still has a free version, I'm downloading it now. You really should read that AVG pop up correctly, it stated 7.1 was being replaced by 7.5, nowhere did it say the free version of AVG had been discontinued.

soon enough it will come down to all vrus programs trickling down to trial period software, but we'll have to wait and see. i havent heard anything about AVG not being free, but sometimes it pays to go with a store bought corperate edition.

the version i had said it was nearing experation.

thats why I Uninstalled it. I have Pro on there now anyway so it dont matter to me.
