Neither was visual basic, so you wouldnt have a need to use google.

Well here is my opinion about that fact: It was out of place and generally stupid to say. Pointless.

like someone stated a week ago, if we used google for everything a forum would be near pointless.

Dont forget that google also searches forums. I wouldnt have found this forum without google. So people share their knowledge through forums and other people can find this knowledge (and other info ofcourse) using a search tool like google. It's kind of like a symbiotic relationship.
