i just bought one from my friend but her name is on it engraved from when she ordered it.

does anyone know if there's a way to get it off?

Bondo? I dunno if there's any practical way, the only real thing I can think of is heating up some lead and filling it but that would probably ruin the ipod. Plus it wouldn't look good and if you eat it you'll die.

The only thing I can think of is you use one of those little diamond bits on a dremal (sp) tool and then scrape it with sandpaper then polish it.

It wont look great, but it will be gone.. Besides its in a little spot.

put a sticker over it? umm lol if it's engraved there is little you can do to remove it without making the ipod look worse. Maybe just do what arrizx said and dremel it out in whatever pattern you want left then you can sand it and polish it to maybe look half decent.
