Resolution difference. They're both widescreen, denoted by the 'W'. WSXGA+ is commonly used in notebooks and they usually run at about 1680x1050. WSXGA/WXGA+ is a screen with a 1440x900 resolution.
 
But im still at a lose for what the "+" stands for.

So wait.. WSXGA+ is a resolution of only 1050x1600. And WSXGA is capable of 1440x900 and 1050x1600?
