DX10 Question

Yea Microsoft is going release SPB3, which is going to support DX10 :)

YAY no need to buy 400 dollar OS!

I hope I don't have to go for Vista... To me, Vista is just a more graphically-demanding version of XP, with a few more features. That's my opinion anyway. I'd be happy sticking with XP; yet, I'd also love to get DX10 going.

Your opinion is flawed. Vista has several features which could become very handy such as being able to image it, using flash memory as ram, advanced self diagonistc software etc etc I read a list of features in vista, and I was impressed.

flash memory as ram?? sweet. the only problem i've seen with vista is a lack of the "run" thing on the start menu. i don't feel like digging out msconfig and the like.

when does sp3 come out??

i think SP3 is coming out late next year or early 2008 =(

but hopefully earlier, maybe a couple months after vista is launched
