Build Challenge

Challenge: build a computer for me for a max budget of $1450-1500 american with router.

I plan to play these games on maxed out settings:
F.E.A.R
CoD Series
Company of Heroes
Maybe some Half life
And all my prev. games

I already have my hardware in mind, I just want to see what you guys think i should get. i will post my ideas later. also, make sure it has arctic silver 5 thermal paste and that zalman CPU cooling fan for $40.

2 GB DDR2-667 RAM - $200
Geforce 7950GT - $300
Creative X-Fi and some decent speakers - $200
WD Caviar 250GB - $75
500 watt PSU - $75
Cooling - $50
DVD Drives - $50
Router - $50

That fits the budget nicely assuming you don't want a monitor.

Two, things, probably dont need the sound card, I'd get a mobo that can overclock that E6600 like crazy, i heard my 1.86ghz e6300 could be OC to almost 3ghz, with a 120 mm fan, so get some decent cooling and a mobo that can OC that E6600 to amazing speeds, I dont know the Ghz on the E6600 but I'm guessing its around 2.5 so you should be able to get it up to 4ghz with the right mobo, correct?
Also save some money from the sound card and get a directX 10 card and Vista.
