Spend the extra $$$ to get me a few more inches??? =O

I think what I need to do is assess what else I want through out the winter and see what I can work with untill next summer.

I know I want also an 8gb ipod. And another sub and new amp in my car..

It's your money. If you have other purchases in mind, you can either compromise or be patient.

Well the thing is with widescreen and LCDs.. 19" typically means 1440x900.. which means you can't run 1280x1024.. or even 1280x960.. the move up to 20" is 1680x1050.. and the screen isn't all that much bigger.. but personally I think the better resolution is worth it. :)

I got a 19" Widescreen and I can run those....
1440x900 is for desktop. But when gaming in full-screen 1280x1024 and 1280x960 work perfectly fine. In fact I use 1280x960 for Need for Speed.

Really? odd. I figured if 1440x900 is the native resolution... how could the X value go any higher?... oh well, glad to see thats not really the case.

My dad's 17" lcd can do higher than it's native of 1280x1024.. but it scales the picture.. meaning even if you run at 1600x1200, it's really still 1280x1024.. looks so horrible.

Odd. Im still not understanding how it is doing that.

You know, im starting to thing that I should just flip a coin to see which moniter is better, LOL
