Saving something as a .pdf

I need to make a .pdf file, what would I need to do that?

Yeah I know about Adobe, that costs money though. Does anyone know of any good free ones?

I use primo, it is OK except for the fact you can't set security on your document e.g. Alterations to the text etc. if that is not a worry then it will do the trick for you.

I just tried out the Sourceforge .pdf creator, the first link I gave, and it is working good. It's simple to use, it just sets up like a printer on your system and you just click print, then change it to "pdfcreator" and name it and choose where to save it and you're done. Works good.
