Its a celeron. THey are possibly the worst CPU's you can buy, and you wonder why its slow?

But my Celeron does what I ask of it... It's not too slow on my system... Though I regularly defrag, optimise, keep start-up items to a minimum... etc.

Can't wait till I get a E6600.

try getting rid of windows and putting it back on again, so it gets rid of all the crap and stuff on it. will make slightly faster depending on what youve got on lol.

Do this NOW!

1.Reinstall windows on NTFS file system
2. download and install the UPDATED device drivers for your system.
(such as for your vid card www.ati.com or www.nvidia.com)
3. Install all the windows updates
4. install this AVG antivirus

See how it runs.

If that dont work, spend some money on an AMD socket AM2 board and CPU,
they are budget friendly.
