Do they really use AI?

AI like scripts in games has been invented, its like PATROL THIS AREA, if enemy comes along KILL THEM D=<. Chase for 100 meters then back off. Thats why bots are stupid sometimes. But true AI like human thinking hasn't been invented I reckon...

True AI has me and you might think has not been invented, But AI has, COD2 is a prime example the bots on there are actually helpful.
