new graphics card help

i currently have an ati radeon x550, but it isnt working too well with pro 6 so i was wanting to upgrade, possibly to an nvideo one, but not sure which, idealy low priced, a quick reply would be appreciated as my mum can pick one up on the way home from work thanks

please could someone reply, just to confirm, i think its my graphics card because lines fliker across the middle of the screen when playing and it sometimes judders

check your cables.

update your video card driver.

try a known good monitor.

swap the video card.

Well first of all its NVIDIA not NVIDEO and unless you want your players to be moving squares then u can't get one for 20-40 pounds! your looking at leaset £80 for a standard card. £20=$37 £40=$75

Well it realy depends what kind of games you are going to be playing. Iv got a Nvidia 6800GS and thats starting to lag so im buyin one of the new Nvidias this november (if all the roumers are true!)

Plus your mum wouldnt be able to get one 1 becuase all the shops are shut 2 high street prices are just stupid and 3 mums can't buy electrical things trust me!

on the case it recomends an ati radeon 9600, is my ati radeon x550 lower than this
