Nah, by then everything will be boughten over the internet. Its rumered the ps4 and stuff arent even gunna have disk drives.

Haha, that is another Sony-ism. No rumors, just a quote from Phil Harrison of Sony. I believe the exact quote was, "I would be suprised if the PlayStation 4 even had a physical drive." Basically the prediction is that in the future, digital distrobution will reign supreme. Hard to say, but it's certainly not out of the question.

I have been supporting blu ray I read that blu ray was going to have a lower audio bit rate than HD DVD and Dolby + was mandatory on HD DVD and not on blue ray

i could'nt wait for the blue ray DVD burners to come out and the blue ray CD players as well as the DVD blue ray's, but i sure am not going to pay what they want for them...way too expensive. i will wait til they drop in price 1st.
