Help My Pc Is Too Slow

What RAM did you have before? (Be specific)
What did you buy?
The process you've done to add the new RAM?

512 mb *2=1024
184pin une uff dimm 64mx64 DDR
pc3200 pb_free

ct6464z40b.8rdy and i put it in myself and earthed the pc
i just clipped it in as ur meant 2

try taking both out, re-seating them.

If they still wont work together then be logical and figure out what is wrong?

1 stick broke?
1 slot broke?
sticks just dont seem compatible (very unlikely but possible)

i only have 2 stiks in 2 512's
quadroupled becaue 256*4 =1024 aprox 1gb and two my uncle practically hates me

Right so ya had 256 in and have taken that out and replaced with 2x512, correct? Im still trying to work out why all the RAMhasnt shown up, has ya board got 4 slots to stick RAM in? If so then have you got the RAM in the right slots? Have a look at ya manual if ya not sure

there is only two slots and the whole 1gb shows put the pc use like even whe im not doin anyhin sos 4 the misdirection

What does it say on the POST when you boot your PC?

What does windows reports it as? (Right click My Computer, properties)
