Help My Pc Is Too Slow

maybe if it was always slow it would be in your best interests to get new stuff

i have new ram a new graphics card and driver updates

256-1gb is quite a drastic change i dnt think it is the specs too much
how could i make the ram work beta

Do ya know what kind of motherboard you have got? I noticed you said ya quadrupled ya RAM, so you must have 4 sticks in now, some boards dont work with all 4 in, so that might explain why only half the RAM is showing up. I would leave the overclocking alone until ya have a bit more experience with pc's or ya will probably end up damaging your computer. Go and see your uncle, cant hurt to try.

Its a celeron. THey are possibly the worst CPU's you can buy, and you wonder why its slow?

Some celerons are overclockable but most are dreadful at that too. Personally id bin the CPU and motherboard and start again with an AMD socket AM2 or if you on a budget a 939

i only have 2 stiks in 2 512's
quadroupled becaue 256*4 =1024 aprox 1gb and two my uncle practically hates me

can u start me from the basics wot shoud i try first (i have already scaned for spyware adware and viruses, i have defragged and done a disk clean up)

If you have done all the following then a new CPU is the only option;

Prefferably did a CLEAN install of windows

or, defraged, scandisk, ran antispyware, AV etc etc


Im affraid celerons are compleatly pointless for anything other than wordprocessing. A AM2 CPU + motherboard can be picked up for as little as £100
