Well we need price range.

For the best, it's cisco, but they start at $500 new

For a decent router, virtually anything running linux will do. My suggestion for a $60 router is the Linksys WRT54GL

Hey

No matter what the case, i would avoid Dlink at ALL costs....i have been through about 3 of them in about a year, as have my friends.....since i have brough a Netgear (DG834) and not had one problem, so i suggest anything from Netgear.

Thanks,

Matt

Yeah i've had tons of problems with the D-Link 500 and 600 lines, which are their home lines.

I like their 700 and 800 lines however, which are buisness.

I have a Linksys, I don't know if it's a WRT54GL or older model but it has never given me any problems. Linksys usually are good little routers for home use, Easy to use, and stable.
