I will like to know if it's posible to share a laptop monitor, keyboard and mouse with a desktop pc. I have a laptop and I will like to just have one monitor and share it with the desktop pc. If possible doing it with free software that works trougth ethernet.

if the desktop pc is windows xp pro you could use remote desktop connection, if its not there are lots of freeware programs online

cg1 - For remote desktop connection, you need 2 seperate monitors. What he's asking is if he can share a monitor between the 2 computers.

Basically, the answer is no. Right now, it's not possible to use a laptop monitor with a desktop pc without spending more money than actually just buying a decent desktop monitor. For your mouse and keyboard though, the Belkin Flip can switch between computers for a monitor, mouse, keyboard, and speakers. It's $50-$60, depending on if you want USB or PS/2 compatibility.
