windows wont start

okay i just installed service pack 2 on a computer, so it restarts, and it gets stuck on the windows loading screen

and it was there for like 25 mins, so i go to try again, manual shut down, then restart, tried last good config, safe mode wont even work any suggestions?

i had the same problem when i installed sp2 it showed the boot screen for ages, the only way i got service pack 2 working is by buying "windows xp with sp2"
