Headset Mic wont work!!!!!!!!!!

I got Windows XP Media Centre. Also, I checked on deivce manager, and all audio devices and drivers are running properly.

Should I just buy a USB headset and will that fix the question.

ok i have had that problem before. unfixable. just get a usb mic. fixed my problem.
