I think ill just buy the 7950 gx2 in a month or so. Thanks for all the help one last thing, you know how diferent manufactures make the same card like XFX, eVGA ect are they all the same??

Use the Optimal Settings, I wouldn't recommend going much higher.

When they make different cards, sometimes they will pre-overclock the card, and they have different games/software in their boxes and sometimes have custom heatsink fans on them.

If your going to be spending that much, I'd wait for DX10 cards to be released and then think about it again.

XFX tend to be more expensive, and they offer factory oc cards as well.

One important thing to make sur with this card, make sure ur psu can handle it. the important thing is the ampeage on the 12v rails, they said needs 27amp, i tried it with 25 and it crashed, works fine now on my dual 44 amp total psu.

Also again something i messsed up with lol is get a supported motherboard. i tried a ASROCK one and was v slow, now im using an MSI platinum NF4ultra and works great i get 8200k in 3dmark 2006 and peeps have got 12k when used with a core duo cpu.
