Its not really the matter of them being outdated, its the matter of them getting cheaper. Just compare AMD processors. People who bought them just 3 month ago payed so much more than those who bought em now. You can never see into which way technology is going.

Its MUCH better to save up the money. If you dont trust urself with money, just open up a savings account, and lock it for a few months. In the end, its all up to you, but even if you decide to buy it piece by piece, ul have no use for those individual pieces anyways.
