No, the domain is called TECHVIDEOSERVER - domains always have capital letters when you see that scheme with DOMAIN/Username

The only other thing I can think of is that the Admin account you've got showing there looks like a domain admin account, the way you've got it in the box. You'll be wanting the local one.

Either that or do what root says, get a sysadmin to wipe the policy clean.

Naah TECHVIDEOSERVER is the local PC name.

Anyways, i just dejoined the computer from the domain, and it's all good now.

I just have to get another PC to experiment with joining the domain.

Neato! That's cool. I'm such a noob with all this networking IT stuff. I can do basic home networks since that's easy plug-and-play, but doing all those network switches, servers and all that hootahadda gets me confused.
