How do all sites make money? Ads.

Company's will pay thousands of dollars to have there ads on Youtube.

Google is now unchallenged in the Online Video market. Personally I think Google is growing way too fast. They'll eventually expand past their point of sufficient support.

Yeah, youtube gets so many people on it.. it's the perfect oppourtunity for companies to get thier Ads seen.. and youtube, knowing that they need a lot of money for the bandwidth, charge a LOT of money.. and with how many people are on that site, those companies will pay a lot.
