when using moxilla firefox i can't see images on the enternet!
i have searched and searched for the answer for serveral weeks and I still dont know how to fix this.
the only thing i see that can be wrong is when i click tools>extensions i see this
J2SE(TM) RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT 5.0 UPDATE 8
Disabled - not compatible with firefox 1.5.07
i have been told thats thats a sun java plugin and it should work with firefox... because no there not having this problem =(
So i have tryed these things to fix
1) uninstall java and redownload and install
2) uninstall moxilla firefox and redownload and install
3) uninstall both at the same time and start over
4) change defualt broswer to IE and then do my number 3 over again...
and these are what happened in order as above^
1)same thing as before nothing different
2)same thing as before nothing different
3)same thing as before nothing different
4) during the process i lost the internet icon (a world when there is no defult), not been able to change IE to browser....
and last but not least i have found something odd...
when i uninstall firefox and redownload and install i have the same setting as before nothing different at all =( everything the same.. homepage,bookmarks,tools, and everything.
so i think i need to do this to fix the problems and i need help
1) remove all firefox(includes tools bookmarks history and such so theres nothing of it ever being on my pc)
2) get the internet icon back so i can make firefox my normal one again 1 day
3) get this behind me
please help me!
