My first lan party was today. It was a smaller lan party, There was a big mess on base or somthing so a lot of the poeple that were supposed to come had got recalled. So it was about 7 to 8 guys. With about 11 rigs, 1 of which was broken. I had two myself, it was great everyone was really impressed with the price, and job I did with my business rig. Everyone loved the wind tunnel on my case and thought the case was simply awesome. We ended up spilting up between playing BF2, and Joint Ops. Me and 2 other guys played BF2, which was fun at first we had all 8 playing BF2, but then they went their way. Next lan party is next month.

Sounds like you had fun. My friends and I have wanted to have a BYOC Lan Party for like, as long as I can remember, we're in Junior Year of High School this year so, until AP testing and SAT I / II / PSATs are over, we won't be doing any of that. Congrats to your first Lan Party though.
It was cool, they had what they called the central server. It had a bunch of games and stuff on it like all BF, CS, etc games things of that nature with a bunch of keygens, so we sat around for the first hour or so getting all the rigs sat up. They even had a movie collection and music collection on the server.

yep, lan parties are awesome. Though if u have under 10 guys then it would be best to get everyone playing the same game at the same time, if not then most FPS games must be pretty boring when it's like 2 vs 2.
