Today I was trying random ways of trying to bypass Cashepilot for my school, here is a two ways to warn you people who use it...

Useing Google translate, by translating it to a different language it totaly by passes cashepilot and lets you through. In a different language maybe but if you were getting on porn the pictures would still show up.

I read up on this other forum that if you say go on it blocks it but if you put it lets you on with the ./ .... it blocks some of them with the ./ but the majority it lets you trhough.

Most of you will probbly know this but I found it really bad that a filter would let you do that stuff especially with kids, and if you didnt know, watch out.

If anyone else knows any other way of bypassing it please let me know as it will be another reason behind getting rid of it for another filter Ty.

We do want to move to something as f-secure, it's finding all the flaws in chashepilot which is the problem because its through the counsil the school doesnt have the balls to move away from it, more flaws more chance of moving away from it. Cause we can't be haing the kids getting through all the filters lol

just utilize as many free filters as you can find online and generate reports to propose the change in software. Then recommend the one that performed the best

fortunately for me, I didnt have to go so far. They ask me what do i recommend. I honestly respond I am not sure but I will evauluate some other options. I do my research and now i have F-secure Antivirus corporate edition that I am preparing to install.

First step, go to each PC that has Symantec antivirus client security installed and manually remove it

Wow, I could go on forever, there are just a few. But just type proxy in Google and heaps come up. Pretty scary when cashepilot doesnt block half of them

what is the ./? I never new anything like that existed. can anyone tell me what its called or link me to a website where I can read up on it or something similar. I hate it when something works and I don't know exactly why it works.

Well if you required all out going traffic to go through your own proxy (internal) where the filter sits, being off the proxy wouldn't do ya any good (as out going traffic wouldn't be let out)

you can also use .home aswell, cashepilot actualy blocks that one though
