i just installed bf2 on my computer whenever i try to run it the thing comes up on screen that say battlefield 2 with the picture and all but then it go's away and nothing happens, i checked the processes and applications but nothing about bf2 is there...?

its onboard(ya i kno i hope i can upgrade but i would need a halfheight card) but anyways its an built into my intel mobo and in the bios it says 128 mb video ram which is the min req. for bf2, i'm gonna try and figure out exactly what the model is

EDIT: ok my graphics is Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family and it says that its compatibility is unknown...

bump, sry for the fast bump but i really need help and it seemed that as soon as i posted this like 20 things came up...

dosn't BF2 require an off-board video card to run? if so, thats ur problem. check the box to make sure.

yup. you need a new video card. it can't just run of your on-board video.

dang that sucks thanks for the help though could you recommend a good half height vid card? that will play bf2 really well

wtf is half height video card..i really think htere is nothing called that, please explain..there is PCI(Lowest quality gpu's) AGP(Medium Quality GPU's) PCI-E(Best Quality GPU's) Those are the slots you can put them in..most likely you have a pci-e or an AGP for a gpu..please explain.

He must have the GX280 small form factor. You will have trouble finding a card that will fit. If you call dell or check out there website...they can let you know of one that will work.
