Good card for playing bf2?

cheerz, howcome the card is so cheap though? Is the processor clock speed good? I got a gddr3, as it was recommened.

I have the 7600GS and that gives me about 100 frames on alll medium settings with no antilasting. res is 1280X1024

i could get better but i like to run steady and get pissed off if I lag so i reduce the quality

to play BF2 good your gonna need:

a mid level 256MB card or a high end 128MB video card
1024MB (one gig) of RAM - the more the better.
a fast processor (AMD Atalon should work fine, i have the 3700 running @ 2.55Ghz and I'm able to run Itunes and MSWord while playing and it doesn't lag at all)

so to play BF2 i would spend a few hundred and get more Ram and atleast a 256MB card. it'll be worth it just with the RAM.

i have a 6600gt and i play bf2 with it on an LCD resolution on medium settings, so the 6600gt is still okay if you want to go cheap.

I would go with the 7300GT, if I remember correctly, the 7300GT is slightly better than a 6800GS.

I think a 7600GT is about the same as a 6800GS. A 7600GT would suit u fine, not the best card out there, but it's also pretty cheap. And it can run pretty much any current game on high settings.
