problem..

i have installed "dawn of war" but somehow i cannot make it to play without cd
using demon tools
i need to figure it out how to do it
it works with other games
but not with dawn of war
i have created game cd image but when i mount that image with demon tools
then it says something about secom
i think it is something to do with cd protection
i installed with original cd on admin account
i used cd rom to play the game and it works
however, i have made image file of that particular cd
and using demon tools
only works with original cd inside cd-rom
just message regarding "secom"
I want it to run from the files in the system using the .exe icon file ?
or using burned image file
with demon tools

I thought this was just a duplicate of the other thread lol..be more specific in your titles..

Is the game downloaded, if so, that's your problem, alot of downloaded games won't work..

Post a screenshot of the error message..

And try and use punctuation next time, that was really hard to read!

it's from a message log.... and it's a legal game not downloaded.

Well first of all, you have to make an ISO of the CD.
This is to remove the protection http://syntheticvisions.net/DOW-141-150.EXE
Secondly http://www.magiciso.com/ to make an ISO of the CD, just mount the ISO in dameon tools whne you are done. And legal game not downloaded means that it is copyrighted i think.
