Need a bit of advice here

Okay, as I plan again, I will try to get that Core 2 Duo PC stuff ASAP. Now, since I am a bit on money needy here, I will need a job lol! Now, the thing is: That E6600 costs $431 here. Sooo...with that in mind, I was wondering this:

Should I buy all the system, being Core 2 Duo ready and buy a dirt cheap Celeron D CPU, so I can get the remaining money or should I buy it all-in-one?

Of course, I will build it myself.

I'd do all in one in all honsety, however can't you get a celeron D for 40 bucks?

I dunno, but I could gain a rest and buy the Core 2 Duo like 2-3 weeks later...just that I wanted to have it powered on on the build date. Or...I am preety sure I won't go that far but...is E6600 is pwned by the X6800?
