my webcam is freezing in msn messenger

its freezing for like 10 seconds then works again, and then in 5 seconds, it freezes. how do i fix this? i have a high speed connection....

Hmm....I dunno man....what kind of cam do you have? Got the latest drivers for it?

yeah i just downloaded them yesterday. its a logitech clicksmart 310

Does it do it with any other programs that you use the cam for? Yahoo messenger or other webcam programs? Sounds like an MSN problem. I would try getting the latest version of MSN Messenger.

no just MSN. yeah i have windows live messenger, and it has always done it...

Well, try updating to the latest version of msn messenger build 7.5.0324, I just upgraded today.

omg the newest version is windows live messenger.

and it happened on all the versions ive used before.

it's not msn messenger anymore...it's called Windows Live Messenger, and the latest version is 8.0.0812.00....you can get it here... http://get.live.com/messenger/overview (microsoft doesn't list the version number for the download...it's always the latest verson available for public release though).
