Need Help!

I'm not sure what happened but today when I booted my computer it wouldn't start, so I opened it up, reset the BIOS and it worked just fine. So I turn off the monitor and 2 hours later I turn it back on, no pictures will show. Instead I will see static in place of the picture with black lines going across where the picture should be. This happens with icons as well. Even the ComputerForums banner at the top of this page won't show up correctly. Any suggestions as to what I should do?

To post a picture just press Print Scrn on your keyboard. The image is then in your clipboard and then you can put it in a program such as paint

so how did you reset the bios ? by moving the jumper over next to the cmos battery ? if this is the case, sounds like you forgot to move the jumper back over to the original position.

I pressed two pins together called CLR_CMOS.

pressed them as in bent them!!!!!!! not the way to go mate. Ya meant to use a jumper. Straighten them out(take care not to snap them) then hopefully all will be well

Where can I exactly go to get "Mini-Jumpers"
