How to make podcast???

Hi Guys

I am wondering how to make a podcast? I am so confused with this RSS feed thingy...I have recorded an audio file in mp3 format and from there on I have no clue on what I am doing. If someone could tell me step by step what to do in turning my mp3 audio into a podcast that can be uploaded onto itunes etc...
