And is the C directory thing that goes to my program files... is that on the server?

yes...
so it could be the path I wrote, which is the default path for Apache on windows.

or it could be d:\\websites\\g9.

or it could be something like
/var/www/httpdcs/g9

you should check with your host to decide what to put there if tyou are unsure.

I see... /public_html/foldername? That good, or is the var still required? Sorry, I'm a complete newb at this... and everything else, for that matter. >.<
