Need mobo for my babies.

Hello. I need some help on choosing a motherboard.
I currently have or olanning on buying these parts:
CASE= Rosewill r804BK
CPU= FX-60
Sound=X-Fi Xtreme Music 7.1
HD= Barracuda 200 GB.

I will mostly use this for music. Like recording, making and mixing. However I do intend to play a few games here and there. So SLI or non SLI will work.

I have that exact same motherboard, and I frequently use my computer for music recording and some production (Ableton Live 5)

However, i'd reconsider everything in your build.

CPU = Intel really has the advantage with conroe.

Sound = That card is a joke for doing recording and production, get some real sound cards like RME, MoTU or M-Audio cards.

Hard drive = Fine if it's a 7200.10 series drive.

Motherboard = It's a great board, if you were buying this last year. Look for LGA-775 boards to fit your new core 2 duo

i agree with dj-chris. you really should reconsider your parts. the case and sound i could careless about which you pick but the processor gets blown away by intel right now. if you have that kind of money to spend on a processor i would take a look at core 2 duo instead.
