Is there any way to make this work or should I just look for a different PSU with a 24pin connecter?

Look for a diff powersuppy. If you are looking at a site and it says 24 (20) then that means its a 24 pin, but 4 pins can be taken off to be compatible with 20 pin motherboards.

Ok, thanks. You happen to know nay good sites for PSU's im looking kinda on the cheap side and somewhere around 550Watts

Yeah, My motherboard needs a 24 pin but I have a 20 pin 450 watt psu, It all counts on the voltage, 12a example, My Motherboard basicly needs 24 pin or if you don't have one, look at the side and mine said if that's the case make sure 12a/15v or above and my Voltage for 12a was 20 so it works perfectly.

So try look to see what 12a voltage you have on the PSU

You would be better off geting off a new power supply, if the motherboard says it needs 24pins some features may not work with only a 20pin connector.
